Colleen Lang, Ph.D.
Practice Founder
Our goal as a practice is to help clients identify and capitalize upon their ability to cope with emotional distress and live fulfilling lives. I myself practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with adolescents, adults, couples and families. I specialize in interpersonal trauma and its impact on how people view themselves and their relationships. Many of my clients also struggle with depression, anxiety, OCD, panic, relationship difficulties, ADHD or have been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and/or have a history of self-destructive and impulsive behaviors. A primary goal in my work with all clients is to help them experience and respond to their emotions with new thought patterns and more effective behaviors. I strive to be compassionate, while change-oriented, and to use evidence-based interventions in a way that is tailored to each client's individual history and difficulties.
Jessica Lubitz, Psy.D.
Associate Clinical Director
I am a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in CBT with adults of all ages, including young adults and older adults, experiencing anxiety, depression, insomnia, grief, and work and relationship stress. I also work with couples who are experiencing difficulties communicating and stress in their relationship. I aim to provide an empathic and collaborative environment to help my clients reach their therapeutic goals and gain a better understanding of their thoughts, feelings and behaviors and how these impact their day-to-day lives. Furthermore, my clients will learn and practice tools they can use to work through difficult life circumstances and effect positive change in their lives that lasts beyond the course of therapy. My background includes extensive experience and training working with a variety of clients, allowing me to modify treatment to each client’s needs and preferences.

Staff Psychologist
I am a licensed psychologist specializing in evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families to address a wide range of psychological and emotional difficulties, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and self-destructive and impulsive behaviors. In my practice, I foster a warm, non-judgmental environment and focus on building a trusting therapeutic relationship; I believe that feeling heard and understood helps clients progress towards their treatment goals and make meaningful change in their lives. I tailor interventions to meet each client’s unique needs and promote independence, such that my clients would continue making gains long after they complete treatment.
Rebecca Brodoff, Psy.D.
Staff Psychologist
I am a licensed clinical psychologist and specialize in using evidence-based treatments, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I see children, adolescents, and adults, and am particularly passionate about working with teens and young adults. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety (all diagnoses), depression, OCD, body-focused repetitive behaviors, insomnia, ADHD, self-destructive/impulsive behaviors, or have been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. I work to help each child and adult client feel comfortable and heard – I understand how daunting and intimidating it can be to begin therapy. While taking a non-judgmental and collaborative approach, I work with my clients to help them identify unhelpful patterns and develop new, more effective responses so they can live the lives they want to be living.
DeVante Cunningham,
Ph.D, MPH
Staff Psychologist
I am a licensed clinical psychologist passionate about helping individuals build resilience, foster personal growth, and navigate life’s challenges using evidence-based treatments. My extensive training spans various therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I primarily work with adolescents, young adults, and older adults who are navigating a range of challenges, such as life transitions, traumatic life events, anxiety, depression, interpersonal difficulties, and identity exploration. I have also been trained to work with couples using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). In couples’ work, we explore the type of attachment you and your partner have and identify ways to improve the bond through developing emotional awareness.
My approach is grounded in trauma-informed care and cultural humility, with the aim of fostering an intentionally brave and affirming space where clients can pursue their goals and live according to their values. Together, we can explore challenges, cultivate healing, and develop actionable steps to begin to thrive.

I am a Clinical Extern at Behavioral Wellness NYC and fourth-year clinical psychology PhD student at Hofstra University. I am also Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have worked with individuals who experience various anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, PTSD, OCD, and self-esteem issues. In my work with clients, I use an empathic approach with a large focus on techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), schema-focused therapy (SFT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) that is tailored to your unique needs. In our work together, you will learn ways to skillfully approach rather than avoid life stressors, correct maladaptive thinking patterns, and develop effective coping skills to deal with distress. My goal is to provide you with a nonjudgmental environment to heal where you feel validated and supported.
Jenna Hennessy, Ph.D.
Staff Psychologist
I am a licensed clinical psychologist extensively trained in evidence-based treatments that I use to form the foundation of compassionate and change-oriented therapy. My goal is to help individuals feel empowered to recognize unhelpful patterns, foster self-compassion, and learn new ways of relating to themselves and others. I use a strengths-based approach to figure out what is already working and collaboratively identify what we can work on shifting (with a healthy dose of sarcasm and humor.)
I primarily practice Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and traditional Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help adults struggling with anxiety, life transitions, trauma, depression, and interpersonal stressors. I am also extensively trained in Virtual Reality therapy (VR) for the treatment of anxiety disorders and OCD.
I work through a trauma-informed, identify-affirming and sex-positive lens to create a space that is non-judgmental and welcoming of your most authentic self.

Tim Stahl, Ph.D.
Staff Psychologist
I am a licensed clinical psychologist working with children, adolescents, adults, and families struggling with a range of psychological difficulties, including depression, traumatic stress, anxiety, grief, and interpersonal difficulties. I lead with compassion, understanding, and a little bit of humor to create a therapeutic space where you can be your full authentic self. I operate primarily from a Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) lens while integrating techniques and interventions from other modalities, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy, to tailor each individual’s experience to their background, goals, and needs. My clinical approach is collaborative, in which each individual is an expert in their life story. My role is to join their story to guide and support them in achieving the change, healing, and goals they want for themselves. I strive to empower individuals by teaching them new ways to experience, process, and respond to life’s ups-and-downs via concrete strategies and interventions they can take away, starting in our first session.
